ScottishPower wanted a partnership with a bit of star power to boost their green credentials. Which is why we invited TV architect George Clarke on a challenge.
The Great Green Challenge is a year of brand activity involving the Northumberland native, in which he engages in Taskmaster-style challenges, complete with an envelope at the start to detail each task.
But we also needed a headline-grabbing launch event in which George gets handed his first task. Our solution involved some projection mapping in a windfarm and a cameo from the ScottishPower mascot Bruce. Our event lit up a cold, dark February evening in Scotland, and as well as concepting the campaign and animated sequence I directed the shoot on the day.
